5 days of immersion in Bridge and Target training technique
SATS Bridge and Target Training Technique marries the best of operant conditioning and the best of cognitive training, for efficient, effective, and virtually errorless, learning.
When animals get a clear understanding of the mission requirements, they often align their goals with ours, driving their own success and excellence. To motivate animals to align with our goals, we must be able to clearly communicate those goals. SATS Bridge and Target empowers trainers to be expert leaders and communicators WITHOUT depending on luring.. Professional trainers have reported 25-75% faster training results. Certification is an opportunity to work directly with Kayce Cover, the developer of these techniques, toward mastery and fluency. For more information, click here: Why get certification?
NOTE: There is a class required for this camp. It is online, and open now. When you register for the camp, you are automatically registered for the class. Registration for this camp includes the cost of the prerequisite online class, which has materials which are delivered upon registration, and weekly group discussion and coaching sessions (Mon 7 pm – 9 pm). If you want this camp, get enrolled in the class right away, and you can add the camp, paying the remainder of the camp cost at that time (price goes up $100 on March 31). Click here to enroll in the class only. Click here to register for the certification camp – including the class. If you have taken the required class in the last two years and want to register for the camp, email kc@synalia.com for a coupon code for a discount.
*The goal is for each participant to earn certification, which requires demonstration of mastery of the skills, and passage of a written test with 95% or better score. Students collaborate to accomplish this as a team. The result is better skills, and greater comfort than when passing at a mediocre level. This may sound daunting, but it is doable! Come ahead. If you are not generally comfortable in a class or test environment, come anyway. This will be a new experience, and others report the experience has helped them to resolve test anxiety.
SATS and working dogs: More dogs make the cut, less time to learn, more thoughtful engagement, more collaboration Dogs drive their own excellence.
SATS and the dedicated pet owner: Train like a pro and experience relationship at a new level. Live your dream with your dogs.
SATS and the professional trainer: Virtually errorless learning is possible. We become guides and colleagues, rather than enforcers. We spend more time working in complex environments and ensuring the dog is prepared for actual work and independent of our support. We see more dogs qualify. We have a broader choice of candidates.
